FEAS professor delivers lecture at MIT on current status of world nuclear-power industry and future trends
On October 14, , Professor, (FEAS), shared his views on the current status of world nuclear-power industry and future trends, including small modular reactors (SMRs), in a lecture delivered at the ’s Nuclear Science and Engineering Department.
Dr. Pioro is a well-known promoter of nuclear power engineering around the world. He has delivered many lectures, seminars and presentations in universities with nuclear-engineering departments, and at nuclear-related organizations and companies.
In his lecture, Dr. Pioro presented the latest statistics and trends in the nuclear-power industry, including the impact of three severe nuclear accidents on the world nuclear industry, and a short overview on SMRs.
