    August 19, 2025 Service disruption: Temporary walkway, parking spot closures for repairs at north Oshawa campus

    Various sidewalks, roads, curbs and parking spots around the north Oshawa campus will be temporarily inaccessible during late August to allow for spot repairs.

    • . Specific work areas are identified by red dots.

    As this construction work involves spot repairs only, large sections will generally remain accessible. However, some parking spots and walkways will be temporarily unavailable during active work.

    Pedestrians are asked to use caution near work zones. Dedicated traffic control personnel will be in place where required, to support safe and movement across campus. All work is expected to be completed by Friday, August 29.

    August 12, 2025 North Oshawa Library elevators out of service

    The North Oshawa Library elevators are out of service until further notice. Facilities Management is working with a technician on the repair.

    July 18, 2025 Service disruption: Bordessa Hall construction July 21 to August 26, and closure August 5 through 17

    In preparation for the installation of a new HVAC system, construction will take place on the fifth floor of Bordessa Hall from Monday, July 21 through Tuesday, August 26. During this period, access to the fifth floor will be limited; please use caution when navigating the affected area and obey the construction signage.

    Important note: As part of this project, all of Bordessa Hall will close Tuesday, August 5 through Sunday, August 17 to accommodate welding work on the roof structure. Please do not schedule any employee, student, research or visitor activities in the building during this period. Faculty and staff should plan accordingly and make alternative arrangements.
